My experience with special educational needs

Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN): I have extensive experience working with individuals with a variety of special educational needs, including but not limited to ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, and learning difficulties. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting students with different learning styles, developing personalized strategies that work best for each individual. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and creativity in my approach to teaching and coaching. I also regularly engage in professional development to stay informed on the latest research and best practices in SEN.

A bit about me

Personal Experience with SEN: I have always been passionate about inclusivity and empowering people with special educational needs to achieve their full potential. In my personal life, I’ve supported close friends and family members with learning differences, which has given me valuable insight into the challenges they face. This hands-on experience has made me particularly empathetic and understanding of the specific needs of my clients, allowing me to connect with them on a deeper level.

My teaching philosophy

Approach to Teaching/Coaching: My approach to teaching and coaching is centered around building trust and rapport with my clients. I believe in tailoring my methods to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that the learning environment feels safe, supportive, and engaging. I focus on using strengths-based strategies and incorporate plenty of visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive learning to make the material accessible and enjoyable. Moreover, I emphasize clear communication, positive reinforcement, and break down tasks into manageable steps, creating an atmosphere where my clients feel confident and motivated to succeed.
